“We are excited to hit the road for season 3, says Tiwa Medubi, Project Manager, Nigerian Idol. “This is the first part of the most exciting journey for me.  Seeing the hopefuls come out in their thousands and fighting for the outstanding prizes". Nothing good comes easy and young Nigerians have to imbibe the culture of fighting hard for what they want. We are looking forward to experience the talents from this buzzing city. Every year, Abuja has brought its game on and provided outstanding talents on the show. Though the city is yet to produce a winner, its talents have been strong contenders.”

In its tradition from last year, Giant telecommunication company and lead sponsors of Nigerian Idol; Etisalat would be sponsoring a concert with leading acts at every audition city to excite and entertain the contestants which is what Nigerian Idol is also known for.
