SMASHING NEWS: SUNKY UNVEILS MORIENTEZ. REMEMBER SUNKY?

Morientez is a music artist born on the 16th October in Lagos state in the largest West African country called Nigeria (West Africa). He is the last of four siblings raised in Lagos state, Nigeria’s entertainment capital.

Interestingly, his encounter with iconic producer Sunky(CEO Sunkytones) sparked the beginning of a humongous hit production partnership. Sunky is the wonderkid producer who churned out several hits for the R n B group called Styl-Plus. They had hit songs such as “olufunmi”, “Imagine that” just to name a few.

SUNKY C.E.O. SUNKY TONES
I have been chatting with Sunky for sometime now asking why I hadn't  been seeing him in Abuja anymore, until he informed me that he had finally moved to Lagos.

Sunky's unveiling of Monrientez to Nigerians comes with fantastic packaging. According to him,
At the age of 7 Morientez started his musical journey by singing in a church choir. This start culminated in a series of entertainment adventures as he developed his vocals and performance into being a world class act. Morientez is truly fresh and unique and few artists in Nigeria have the privilege of such a well decorated music profile on the way to a debut album.

A graduate of chemistry from the University of Benin in Edo state Nigeria he relegated his school qualifications to the coffers and grabbed the mic with two hands, performing in churches, clubs, competitions and several events.

Talking about events, this young man was the winner at a music talent competition in Nigeria called The MTN/Soundcity Campus blast 2007, runner-up at the Star Quest music talent hunt 2008, semi finalists at the Naija sings 2010 and winner Mr Glo Rock and Rule 2011(South South region). That is quite a handful to suggest a promising career.
The singer has worked with several big names in preparation for his album release including Nigeria’s top notch rapper chocolatecity’s MI (Mr Incredible).

The first song on queue for promotion is called “Cinderella”. Many songs and classic movies have adopted this fairy tale story name, but this song does justice to the name Cinderella in whatever context
