RE: FIFA Rates Nigeria 3rd Worst Football Developing Nation.

It can be recalled that last week, Nigeria was said to be the worst football developing nation, according to thisdaylive.com

The ratings were conducted at the annual CAF Technical Committee Congress in Seychelles in August and it was in sharp contrast to the series of commendations that the Nigeria Football Federation has been receiving for its developmental programmes.

This Morning, Gang of 96.9 Coolfm Abuja and his gang tried to analyse the issue. Is their a distortion in the report? Well! They may have had their reasons but we certainly had ours too.

Tripple A's point made a lot of sense when he said The Federation of International statistics and History is the body saddled with the responsibility of bringing out ratings after research is conducted. The same body rated the Nigeria Premier League the strongest and fourth best in Africa. FIFA has not made an official statement about this proclamation and if there is any, then it should be that which Sepp Blatter mentioned about the Falconetts which was filled with praises. The Swiss football administrator said the performance of the falconetts is a sign of developmental progress in Nigerian football.
